A flower-colored beret that brightens people's hearts
The origins of Beret is Flamingo began with one encounter.
When fashion critic Pico (Katsuaki Sugiura) visited our Kumamoto factory, he told us about Junichi Nakahara, a painter and fashion designer who was one of Japan's leading figures in the postwar period.
As the president got to know Junichi Nakahara deeply, he was particularly moved by an episode about the women's magazine "Soreiyu," which was first published in 1946.
| After the war, in an era when color was lost, color arrived.
"Soreiyu" gave dreams and color to women who had lost hope for the future amid the ruins. Struck by the "power of color" embodied in the product, our president utilized the spirit of beret-making that his predecessor, Takeo Yoshida, held dear, and our company's dyeing technology to develop berets with a variety of colors that allow free expression of individuality, and berets with vibrant colors like flowers.
Add a little excitement and peace of mind to your everyday outfits. This is the idea behind the "Beret is flamingo" beret.
We hope that wearing it will help you find your true self and spark a smile or a conversation with someone.
